Bad weather policy
In the event of bad weather Citizens will attempt to keep the clinic open or have a delayed start time however not all services may be available. Please call 317-924-6351 prior to coming to any of the Clinics to see if the clinic is open and what services are being provided.
School based clinics will be closed or delayed IF the school is closed or has a delayed start time.
Transport by Ambulance to a Hospital
Your Provider will make the decision to send you via ambulance to the nearest hospital or to the hospital that your insurance requires you to be sent. However, the cost of this emergency transportation is you the patient’s responsibility and not Citizens.
You the patient do have the right to decline such transportation and in that event Citizens is not responsible for the decline of your health care if you have been advised by a Citizens Provider to seek immediate emergency health care at a local hospital.
Citizens Advantage Program Enrollment Center
The Citizens Advantage Program is not an insurance company however, if you are a Marion County Resident and with proof of income you may qualify for this program. The benefits are that you would receive a discount on your Office fee at Citizens also if you need to go into the Hospital with the Citizens Advantage you may receive a discount on the care which you receive at Wishard. If you are in need of specialized laboratory test(s) or Radiology services you may also have these services discounted at Wishard.

Medicaid Enrollment Center
Citizens has staff available to assist you in the completion of the Medicaid application. Citizens is not responsible for any decisions made by Medicaid regarding your application. |
